lying on my back, looking at the clouds

I just watched all ten episodes of Secret Diary of a Call Girl (covering my eyes in the really awkward parts, as my prudish side demanded) in about six hours (I watched two episodes of Ouran between SDoaCG). I sort of wish it wasn't such an explicit show, you know? Just because as it is now, there's no way I'll be able to watch it on anything other ( Read more... )

tv: scrubs, food, tv: sdoacg, music: abba, music: the mountain goats, billie piper, anime: ouran high school host club, smoothies

Oh, SDoaCG is by Showtime, isn't it? Eek.
Showtime is often inappropriata. Like The Tudors. Good show, but OH MY GOD MY POOR VIRGIN EYES.

Well, it's being showed on Showtime in the US, but it is a British series produced by, I think, ITV. Not sure on that front.

OH MY GOD MY POOR VIRGIN EYES.
This is one of those phrases that I LOVE, but whenever I try to interject it into conversation, I just feel awkward. THANK THE LORD FOR ELJAY, BECAUSE OTHERWISE OMGMPVE WOULD NEVER GET ANY USE!
(Do you like the *~*acronym*~*? I think it adds a certain ... ~~~*~something~*~~~. As do the squiggles and sparkles. xD)

I was surprised how my parents didn't say anything when I first watched nip/tuck in the living room. That was 2 or 3 years ago so I was 15/16. Since then I'd watch almost any show 'in public'. :D

You lucky, lucky person. I think my parents would be all 'OMG, HEAD FOR THE HILLS!!' They did that when I tried to watch Gilmore Girls in 'public' for the first time, which is strange, because GG is not particularly bad. As in, at all. My parents are kind of insane. *g*

Well, my parents are insane too, just in another way. :)

Oh, another thing we watched together was Casanova (the DT version) when it was shown on Hungarian TV. I was worried about the sex scenes but in the end it wasn't awkward at all, for which I'm very very grateful. :D
