Yeah, seriously -- I don't think we're dead at all. Just quieter than the current TV types.

Agreed. There are also very few of us, so even if we jumped up and down and screamed, people might not notice. ;) Besides, dead is such a...final word. Many of these fandoms have survived for centuries. I don't think a dearth of fansites will kill them.

I think this means that Eleanor of Aquataine is a BNF in our fandom. One of those diehard Lancelot/Guenevere supporters, of course. ;)

I would undoubtedly call myself a Vampire Chronicles fan and I love the original canon. Many of the other fans I know also feel the same way.
And Woman in White? Huge fan, but I can more that appreciate the negative reviews it got.

I meant more.. I think.. the trouble with fandoms is they all do tend to get tarred with the same brush, even when that isn't the case.
