This weekend was filled with various excursions, though no alarums. Went to my oldest friend's daughter's HS graduation party on Saturday; Cap'n Bhil and I did manage to see "Super 8", which was fun although it felt like Spielberg taking another bite of the "E.T." apple - possibly a bite with worms in it, and none of yer cutesy, cuddly aliens,

Ever since I first saw the trailer for Super 8, I've been referring to it as "JJ Abrams presents 'Stephen Spielberg's Childhood.'" :-)
