I ordered the latest Lois McMaster Bujold Miles Vorkosigan novel Cryoburn in hardcover from Amazon, oh ages ago, and it arrived the Friday before Halloween. I was flipping through the volume preparatory to diving in, when I realized there was something stuck in the back of the book

I heard about this elsewhere... I think you can get it if you buy the e-book version from Baen's vendor, too (which is what I'm going to do).

Nice! But see, I really, really like "real" books. I'm trying to be more selective about which I buy, 'cuz they have do a tendency to pile up, and the Kindle makes that a lot easier. Still, there are authors - Bujold is one of them - whose books I simply MUST have in physical form.

I guess that, despite the available tech, I'm still an old-fashioned kind of girl.
