The Asperger's Syndrome Page on TVTropes is actually pretty good!

I haven't read all the way through it yet because I'm in no attention span mode right now, but it looks like they did their homework and aren't just parroting stereotypes. And I like that they got cognitive empathy vs. affective empathy down.

I remember posting this a while back.

I suspect it's good because I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Tropers are Aspies. There's a certain quality to TV Tropes that I think draws a lot of us to the site.

Seriously.

My son, 20, AS/AHDH/Exec Function issues... can LIVE on the Troper site for HOURS.

Wow. That is surprisingly good. I especially love the myth-busting portion.

And yeah, I too wouldn't be surprised if it were because a lot of tropers are Aspies.

TVTropes is pretty cool. They have a good page on asexuality, too.

I'm an Aspie troper and yep, I link people to this instead of any more official types of pages.

Whoa, this is actually a crisper and more to-the-point article than Wikipedia's which positively BURIES you in psychiatric and neurological terminology. So nearly useless to send NT people to give them a clue.

Nice!
