Another "Do you ever..."

Here's something that occurred to me this morning as I was browsing a favorite website - do you ever have perseverations within perseverations? Here's mine: I like history, and one of my favorite topics is World War II. I play in a WWII-themed role-playing game, even. :) When it was my turn as the storyteller/GM in that game, I picked a ( Read more... )

I'm the same as you in that I'm a WW2 geek and I get caught up with certain subjects within that or people.

I've never role-played it though but it would be fun to do it.

A good friend of mine, also a WW2 geek, decided that it was a gap in the rpg systems, so he's developing his own - I have been his (very happy) major playtester. Hopefully someday he'll publish it - it's really good. :)

Yes. For example. I am really into a TV show. However, there may be a certain character I am REALLY into.

Oh, yes! I am a history geek. Further, I am a war geek, and like to know all I can about assorted wars. Further yet, my "favourite" wars are WWI (subsections: poetry and 11/11/11/18), WWII (subsections: Holocaust [subsection: Dachau], Canadian and American internment camps, the Manhattan Project) and the Korean War (subsections of a sort: M*A*S*H).
