I am a new member and want to say hi before I go on to ask my question. I am 25-years-old and was diagnosed with AS or ASD (depending on which professional you ask) in 2007. I have other issues as well, so what I'm going to discuss may not be totally Aspie.( Question about perseveration is behind the cut. )

Here's something that occurred to me this morning as I was browsing a favorite website - do you ever have perseverations within perseverations? Here's mine: I like history, and one of my favorite topics is World War II. I'd never thought about this before, but do you think perseverations begin when we're bored?
