It's good advice. It's at too high a level to be practical advice, but you already know that, or you wouldn't have written the "go north" analogy into your post. The trick is turning it into something practical - figuring out how to give the appearance of playing the game without doing violence to your core nature or stressing yourself into meltdown. Many of us have done that, at least to a degree that works most of the time, and the details vary tremendously according to our respective preferences and abilities.

Which is probably why no one can really TELL others how to do so. It's like a personal journey sort of deal.

But I guess I sort of needed to be told to stop rejecting the world, because it's basically what I'm doing right now.

The page exists, but the server is severely overloaded. What I see depends on which of my four browsers I use, and varies from one attempt to another even with the same browser. Having told you that, I should stop, as my efforts are contributing to the problem.

It took a minute to get in, must be a popular place, or the server needs to be upgraded ( ... )

Holycrap, that comic has WAY too much dialogue. Though, after I read it a few times and figured out who was speaking and when, it does make sense.

Still trying to sort through all the metaphors and such, but...ya, I agree with the points int he comic. I've often thought the same, myself...which was why I hate dealing with people because 3/4 of what they show you in public places is a giant mask.

I think I once wrote a poem about people being at a giant costume or masquerade party.
And, life is like a giant game. I totally see it and agree with it...even if I think the comic still has too much dialogue and not enough spacing.
;p
