My girlfriend, who I've mentioned in my previous post to this community, has Asperger's like me. We are not without our odd quirks, and one of them seems to be smirking at each other, hands on hips, and then pressing our foreheads together. I stim on my husband all the time. He is very ticklish and I stim off the sound of him squealing. Hard to explain, he squeals higher than any woman (or child) I have ever known. No mutual stimming yet. He is aspie but he is just getting used to the idea. He doesn't generally let himself stim much yet. The one stim he has, playing with pens and listening to them click together, is one I can't do adequately and which he prefers to do alone. Hopefully mutual stimming will happen some day.

That was really cute. I haven't done this in a relationship but I think I do it with my kids. I rub my face on my kids like a cat would whenever they will let me. One of them makes me rock side to side any time he sits in my lap. He also has a ritual where he runs up to me, sniffs my shirt, and then rubs his face on me for a while when I pick him up at school. I hadn't thought of him stimming but it would make sense. The rest of my family is not as affectionate or stims alone.

I rub my face on people I love like I'm a cat all the time. They seem to enjoy and it feels good to me.

Yep. As far as I know we're aspie (me) and add (him) but we seem to do some of that. We tend to pet one anothers heads and rub one anothers faces a lot.

My partner's NT, but he is fairly receptive to stimmy things, though he can sometimes get a bit fed up with me fiddling with his ears!

I do like rubbing faces and noses with him and I like to smell his hair and neck. He often seems to smell of nice things like buttered toast or caramel.

I also love burying my face in my cats' fur.

I have never had a relationship with another aspie. I do feel it is something I would like to experience, one day.
