My girlfriend, who I've mentioned in my previous post to this community, has Asperger's like me. We are not without our odd quirks, and one of them seems to be smirking at each other, hands on hips, and then pressing our foreheads together. The idea seems to be that she's going to make me stumble backwards, or I'll make her stumble, or something like that. It's completely absurd, and I love it. Anyway, today she was saying something to me, standing over me with her hands on her hips, and I said "Well, what are you implying, dear?"
She just gave me an odd look, sort of amused-looking, so I stood up and grinned at her and she touched her forehead to mine and we started doing that again. Laughing, I turned my head to the side - I was going to try to kiss her, I think, but I missed and ended up with her head rubbing against the side of my neck.
"Where's your forehead?" she asked. I think I replied that I didn't know, but don't stop because that felt good on my neck. My neck had been pretty sore, so it was nice. She replied that it felt good on her head, so I just stood there while she rubbed the top of her head against my neck for a moment.
When we stopped, she wondered aloud if other Aspie couples do stuff like that, which she aptly dubbed mutual stimming. I figured some might, but I'd ask the community. So, folks, what are your thoughts on such things?
