Deadlands Radio Drama
Just an update for anyone who is interested. I've been e-mailing Pinnacle Legal and have gotten permission to use Deadlands, the Deadlands setting, quotes from the rulebooks and setting pieces, and to use the Dime Novels as source material in the creation of the Radio Drama - as long as I give credit for everything that is used. taking stock
I'm one day in to the brand new age of 33; 11 years older than I ever thought I would be when I was a kid. I'm doing ok, things are not ideal but I could be a lot worse off. I haven't had a date in just under a year. I'm about to take my house OFF of the market and start looking for renters. Gypsy is doing well. Mom's still sick, but she's off of ( Read more... ) -

In the ongoing creative process for my eventual radio-drama, I have decided to adapt a story (or RPG adventure) from the Deadlands genre. For those who don't know, Deadlands is a divergent history set in the American West around the 1870's incorporating the Wild,Wild West, Horror, and Mad Science (steampunky). -
Radio play?
Have you ever heard Kung Fu Action Theater, Steampod, Girl Genius, or any other podcast radio drama? I've been listening to them a lot lately and it got me thinking, "I could do that". I went to a great party last night; it was a lot of fun. My usual party anxiety hit and I had to hide in the toilet for a bit, but I was able to come out and hang around for awhile afterwards. In the ongoing saga of crap that happens to my family: My Uncle John (leather worker living in Wichita, KS) was driving in a pick-up truck and got in the way of a road race between a car and motorcycle. The car passed him. The motorcycle rear-ended my Uncle, sending the pilot over the pick-up bed and through the rear window colliding with my Uncle ( Read more... ) -
