Death with Dignity

On Tuesday, one of the questions Massachusetts will be voting on in Question 2, better known as the Death with Dignity initiative.

Basically, it will allow adults who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and told they have 6 months or less to live to make a request with their physician to be prescribed a life ending medication. A summary of ( Read more... )

I would support it - how is it anyone else's business if someone wants to have that option? I am curious what his specific issues are with this.

The ads are absolutely terrible. I hate how he's like "no doctors are involved!". So I looked up the motion and you have to get your request approved by two separate doctors, both in writing and spoken. Why the hell can they just blatantly lie in these ads?

It would be the wrong choice for me. But I would totally support peoples right to choose it for themselves.
