So on my train to and from work I keep saying posters that say "Alzheimers the disease that could bankrupt a nation."

What? How is this possible? Can someone explain this claim?

As the baby boomers develop the disease, where will they live and who will take care of them?

sadly in america they would just get dumped into homes and forgotten about.

We are incredibly cruel to our elders.

Cost of care and upkeep for people with the disease. Labor spent on taking care of people with the disease and not in other industries.
