Extracting audio from .swf files

I need to transcribe the audio from some files that are in .swf format, and my transcription software does not run .swf files. I've Googled for "free swf converter" "free swf to MP3 converter" "converting swf files" and "ripping SWF to MP3" and have tried five different pieces of software that claim to convert said files, but none of them work. No, they were uploaded specifically for a writing class and I was asked to transcribe them for a Deaf student in the class.

This might help. The only issue would be that it's referring to a much older version of VLC Player than is current, but I'd bet it can be done. (You'll need VLC and Audacity, but both are free.)

This software will let you break down any SWF file into it's component resources.

I tried it, and sadly the trial (unpaid) version lets you extract only the first two audio files from a file. The files I'm using are slideshows, and there is a different audio file for each slide. Therefore it would let me export only the first two slides out of ten or more slides in each file. But thank you for the suggestion.
