The freaks don't mind that I call them freaks, Martha! They grunt and drool in an accomodating way when I give them an encouraging cheer. KEEP YOUR SPIRITS UP, FREAKS! After all these years I definitely know my freaks and they love me.

OKAY. Around my Martha I'll say Rift Vics. To Ianto and Gwen I'll say freaks. It's a compromise. I've learned that in workplace relationships you have to make some. Even though it's IRRITATING TO HAVE TO SHUT THE DOOR WHEN PISSING.

I think it's the Twizzlers and Gummi Worms he stashes in his pockets when he heads out, but whatever it is, the Rift vics always cheer up when Jack pops in.

I'm sure they love him. Everyone loves him. But I just don't feel comfortable when he calls them freaks.
