As some of you may know, the Apple iPhone upgraded its operating system this past week. I normally wouldn't be this much of a tech-head, but I inherited Tosh's after she died. It occurred to me that I ought to review some of the proprietary Torchwood apps that a Top-Secret Government Agency offers:

It's hot. You all bent over. Thumbing at a small rectangle. Turning it to and fro. Sliding things with your index finger.

I wish there was some sort of app for transmitting my voice to you for phone sex.

Here's the spec I'm envisioning: I'd enter a sequence of numbers that was unique to your iPhone. You'd get a notification that I was trying to contact you and you'd be able to hear my voice! Ideally, the transmission would be two-way. Is there an app for that?

I called tech support, and they say there IS! It's called "Phone" and it's in the lower left corner of your screen. It's awesome.

Is there some kind of app we can add to this which has a "map" thingy?

We could use it to find things - like if we're on boats and need to locate any other islands where Jack keeps things I'm not supposed to know about.

Unless I'm in the greenhouse, then you should just...wait downstairs.

It's more the lack of curtains on many of the windows that perplexes me.

Oh awesome! Some of the earlier attempts were a bit light on details about homo butleriens, will we learn more about their biology and evolutionarily history in the new installments?
