So Much Filing

I am buried in the Archives today, but I am logging on briefly to make it very plain that I do not dance around the flat when Mambo Number Five comes on the radio, and if Jack shows you photos or video of such a thing they are fakes.

Especially if I'm wearing the Snoopy boxers.

And Andy, you didn't tell me your old dad was Chief Superintendent Read more... )

I found this in the TARDIS. I don't think it means anything IMPORTANT, you know. I don't even think the Doctor we have here knows anything about it. There are probably a lot of ... leftovers strewn around the spacetime continuum, and I think the TARDIS picks up detritus to clean up after ... you know.

I thought it was just a painting of an old sailing ship. Probably late 18th century. But then I saw the name painted on the side. "Mala Loba". Look at the figurehead, Jack.

I... thought you might like to keep it. But if not I understand.

Just because I'm clutching it to my chest and breathing heavily doesn't mean that I'm particularly moved. I guess I'll keep it around. I have to go finger the frame in private now. BRB.

I thought you might like it. She -- I mean it, it's a beautiful painting.

You can talk to me anytime, Jack. If you want. About anything.

JACK BE CAREFUL

That's an old painting! Stop crinkling it.

Let me frame it. I'll put it under glass for you.

It looks like Jack wants to keep it, Ianto. I thought he might.

Give him a few minutes. Then I'm sure he'll want it very well taken care of.

I've no objection to keeping it, but it ought to be properly...

You know what? I will let him do whatever he needs to do and not interrupt him. I know that face he's making.

That might not be a bad idea. Then take him a cup of coffee. In the greenhouse or somewhere, you know?

I hate it when he makes that face. It's not natural on him.

Me too. Usually he wants to hug a lot after.

It's your mission, Mr. Jones, if you choose to accept it.

I will take one for the team, but nobody's allowed to call me silly for hugging in public.

That's kind of why I mentioned the greenhouse or somewhere similar, in case, um, "extreme hugging" is called for.

You're a thoughtful doctor, Martha! FULL OF GOOD THOUGHTS.

Mm mm okay! I just want to know where it is at all times. Hang on, I'm not done touching it.

Ok. No wait.

Ok.

It'll only take a few minutes, I have some stretchers and a frame around here somewhere.

Jack, you have to let go of it if you want me to frame it. Take your time, I'm just saying.

What if I just press up against you so I'm close to it. I'll just stand here and make anxious noises against your neck.
