Not really, but I haven't applied to any more? I made a list of labs whose projects interest me, and I started to read papers by them, but I'm going to narrow it to 5, and send out letters maybe next week requesting interviews when I move up in August.
Well, what's the lab equivalent of washing dishes in laundry soap? Because that's what happened when Evan went to jail last time and nobody else knew how to place orders. I figure the lack of you will be that bad or worse.
I totally didn't realize you were leaving! I feel my worldview is slightly shaken. Although I just read back through all your entires -- which I read the first time! -- and realized I am just kind of dumb. Congratulations?? Fingers crossed for the new job in Chicago.
Thanks! I'm... sort of excited? IDK, I'll miss everyone here in Houston a lot! But Chicago!
I've been really slow to apply to new jobs. I applied to a couple last month, and I've been reading papers from a few labs at NU and UI-C, and I'll probably send them CVs and coverletters in the next few weeks. It's been so crazy finishing actual work that it's slow going, though.
How's the lesson-planning and text-book reading for your AP class going?
