Also, another bassplayer book I must own[tm] comes out in a coupla weeks, i.e. John Taylor from Duran Duran.

I'm only about a third of the way through because I had to stop and go to work this afternoon, but it reads really easily, and he alternates chapters between his early life and move to LA pretty easily.

I didn't know Taylor was writing a book! I also didn't realize how much McKagan blogged. Back-reading now...

Ugh, ugh, ugh, Tabby, there's so much ugliness coming out of the Mack Report for BU right now W/R/T hockey players and the culture of sexual consent/entitlement and misogyny, and I don't want to ignore that with Jess, but that is not her story (she knows shit goes down, especially at parties, but maybe the fact that her brother was on the Kitchener Rangers when she got drafted into the OHL, or maybe that she had a boyfriend at that time, means they mostly treat her like one of guys. mostly.), and I'm trying to figure out how to not-ignore it appropriately.
