New Release Pick of the Week: Let the Bullets Fly
In a week chock full of roundhouse kicks, flashing swords, and flying bullets, it's Well Go USA's Let the Bullets Fly that gets my nod for pick of the week.
When a conman convinces an infamous bandit that he can make him into the next governor of Goose Town, they end up facing off against the area's current leader...who just happens to be a ruthless criminal kingpin. Both hilarity and an extraordinary amount of butt-kicking ensue, resulting in a film that hits a great balance between laughs and action.
Oh, and did I mention that it features an all-star cast with Chow Yun Fat, Jiang Wen, Ge You, and a ridiculous number of other familiar faces in smaller roles?
Add to all that the fact that Well Go is offering both a Collector's Edition Blu-ray/DVD combo and DVD, and it really becomes a "must buy" title.
