Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, chapitre 181

Sooo... the last entry went over 100 comments, mostly discussion and most not mine?

You guys freakin' rock! ♥

And lexi-nyanko also rocks for not only getting the chapter early, but also for advertising it in tsubasarc where everyone can see.

How to hide right under everyone's noses for dummies -- the Fei Wang Reed version! )

You're welcome!

I thouroughly apologize for messing up the cut. It's fixed now.

Yeah, if it's possible to keep a bodiless soul around, why not just do that to everyone who dies? It's not making much sense so far.

Oh, I didn't mind, since I just hopped over here from my email, I wouldn't have seen a cute anyway, tehee! 8D

I guess, now that you said it like that - I guess it's possible because C!Sakura's soul was separated from her body as well. Into another dimension, no less. So splitting souls and bodies can be done from what we see. I think it does effect the body though, because in the Tokyo arc Sakura's told that she needs to wake up or she'll be stuck in that state, and her body stops breathing. It might just be because the soul is 'sleeping' and not because it's somewhere else, but not-breathing should kill a human at some point, yes?

But then if you can get rid of the body, what does the soul do? Sleep? Haunt graveyards? Can it ever go back into a living body, if its own is dead?

Gah, so many questions, sorry. Just trying to make sense of all this - which, knowing CLAMP, is probably a futile attempt. P:

Indeed, we've been told not once but twice that Sakura's body couldn't survive separated from her soul for too long.

*laughing so hard at the idea of Sakura's soul haunting graveyards* Hmmm, if the soul -can- go to a living body when its own is dead, it raises a few questions as to who else in the Holic/Tsubasa multiverse could be like that. Watanuki would be a strong candidate in my opinion.

But where's the fun in not trying to make sense of CLAMP's crack? (笑)

Thanks for the translation, I was waiting for it! *I don't sound like a stalker...do I? :P*
I'm in a totally frustrated mood too but I won't talk about it here...*grumpy mood because of the last page of this chapter*

As for the last panel of page14, you're wondering about this line right : But in order to cross not only worlds, but time as well they must wait for "that time"; well, since FWR is hiding not only in another dimension then the one they are in too but ALSO a different time, I guess there are more requirements to get in there too : I can only suppose there must be one specific moment in time where they will be able to penetrate FWR place...
That said, everything is going very fast, I mean, is this THE END? since I always thought that when they get to FWR and Clow Country then we would be reaching a conclusion to TRC...but there are still FAR too many unanswered questions and events! That's just crazy...or, unlike what I thought, them going to face FWR in Clow Country doesn't mean anything...? Hardly the case...

Haha, no, you don't sound like a stalker. (笑) I'm actually frustrated on account of two things -- one being the fact that I'm still getting pwned by Fei Wang's Japanese, and the other being my brat of a project partner who's persistently being an ass ( ... )

Where -has- Yuuko been sending him for his deliveries?

Aha~
I think we're better off not knowing

It's possible that the final showdown will happen shortly, then we'll have some 2-3 volumes of only explanations.I didn't thought about this one at all but, indeed, it might really happen like that x_x ( ... )

*SQUEE!* Thank youuuu! I thought I'd check one last time before I went to bed, and there it is and you're so wonderful. ♥

I have to wonder if maybe he just stuck her soul in an empty jar or something. >>;

Everybody else seems to have a clone or twin. I will be utterly disappointed if Kurogane turns out not to have a hot twin brother. DISAPPOINTED I SAY!...sleep! *passes out*

Thanks for tuning in! ^_^

Hey, if there's a kudakitsune in Holic, maybe there's a kudasakura in Tsubasa? *stupid*

Blame Yuuko for that one; if she hadn't interferred, Kurogane probably would have a clone/twin.

^_^ Well, I like your translations. I don't have any problems understanding what's going on.

*giggles* That would be incredibly adorable, but also incredibly weird. ...But then they could carry her around in their pockets and wouldn't have to worry about her getting in much danger besides being accidentally washed.

And it would be double the hotness. *shakes fist* Damn you, Yuuko! lol

I wonder if Watanuki losing his memories was a way to protect him as well.

Thanks for the translation, the last pages were beautiful.

Knowing Yuuko, that's actually highly likely. Though if forgetting his parents' names is a way to protect Watanuki, I'm almost afraid to find out who they were...

Definitely not knowing who his parents are makes it a big deal on who they are.

Although I'm almost sure they're not, one could wonder if it's not Clow and Yuuko, but I hardly think that CLAMP would do that.

Maybe he really -is- Kyle's kid? Someone came up with that theory before, I thought it unlikely but if there's a deeper motive as to why Yuuko made him forget, then...

Thank you so much for the translation! I've been dying to read it :) Man things get more and more confusing... I wonder when did watanuki lost his memories and why did he do the contract in the first place, also why is he the closest to syaoran... so many questions... and they invited Seishirou? Didn't see that, why did they invite him? I wonder how things are going to end up for sakura... Clamp really like their talk about wishes (and how they make things go wrong and such) it seems X all over again...

And yeah since everybody in the traveling group has one poor kurogane should also have a brother (not a clone, that wouldn't be good)

You're welcome!

Watanuki most likely made the contract because he -is- the closest to Shaoran; the real question is, how come -he- is the closest to Shaoran? I didn't get what the heck Seishirou was invited for either -- honestly don't remember anything of the sort.

If this were X, we'd have the clone harassing Shaoran, or possibly Shaoran harassing Watanuki, and making cryptic confessions to the resident yumemi about his wish. (笑)

Hehe, maybe who FWR is trying to resurrect is one of Watanuki's parents? XD that would be weird. But knowing CLAMP it could actually happen.
