Title: Negotiation Author: textfiend Written for: loridragus Prompt: Ash and Scribbs investigate the death of a buyer of illegal exotic pets. Word count: 1500
This was adorable. As always, with your fics, perfectly in character and I could really see it happening. The banter is fantasic, I love the back and forth bargaining.
I love Ash planning to run the place with a rod of iron when she's DCI. Although, I can't imagine Scribbs listening to her even then...
Scribbs fixed her with a very eloquent look: Not if you ever want to see me naked again. - Not everyone could say that with just a look, but Scribbs could.
Scribbs went on clicking her mouse -- playing Solitaire, Ash guessed, since she rarely used the computer for actual work - Hee!
And whatever that phone conversation was about it sounds very...interesting.

I have a silly smirk plastered all over my face imagining Ash begging, bargaining and generally weedling to get out of having to go and see the Snake Man.
My head is also filled with all sorts of interested ideas at what "you know... the thing you said you'd... like" might be.
