Random Costuming Tidbits

I have come to the conclusion that I am addicted to stripes and, by extension, plaid (for what is plaid but dual-directional stripes?). Seriously, almost every fabric I have bought lately has been either striped or plaid. I may need a solids intervention. Stripes are great for 18th century and later, mostly, and are fantastic for Victorian.

I like that! Are you embellishing them, or selling as-is? And are they real leather?

If I am going to buy one I'd much rather buy local.
