['tis the season for New Feathers, and it might be very easy to mistake this small blonde girl for one as she is wandering around in the shadows of town, trying to figure out the lay of the land

[When the going gets tough, the tough... Well. Some of them tend to avoid the world entirely for a good long while. Hitsugaya's pretty damned good at avoiding the world. Just ask his lieutenant.
Except no one can right now, can they?
He doesn't even twitch when that familiar presence brushes against the very edge of his perception. After all, this last... Halloween, was it? It had been somewhat... interesting.]
[Are you ready to have your senses completely blown out, Rangiku?
Nel does indeed have a visible weapon, though she keeps it sheathed, and she also has a vague feeling that something familiar is around... so of course she's following it. She hasn't seen the future lieutenant just yet though.]
[Sheathed or no, weapons are Bad News that often leads to Bad Things, and... and instead of the more familiar buzzing on the corners of her mind, this untrained girl with spiritual powers senses more of a clanging.
...and that means it's best to be unseen. Casually, though, always casually, because if you show fear that means you're already halfway dead. So she stops to 'tie her shoe' in the corner of a building, in a shadow, and waits for the clanging to - hopefully - pass.]
[Unfortunately for young Rangiku, being unseen means nothing when the person nearby can feel that you're nearby. The clanging sound gets louder as Neliel approaches, and rounds the corner of the building...
And stops dead. This is who she was following? She's never seen this girl before.
But faint as it is, that pressure is definitely familiar. She takes a couple seconds to sort this out, probably giving Rangiku more than enough time to respond to her sudden appearance.]
[Well guess who was in the CLOTHING SHOP TODAY. And he's noticing all her "stealing". Sure it's free, but stealing is NEVER a good thing. This proves that she's willing to steal, and that's a no noooo. He doesn't make any movements towards her, but he does speak while he's still looking at clothes.]
You should try those on first. You would want to make sure they fit before you "buy" them.
[She starts a little, the smallest jump in place that could happen to anyone taken by surprise by being addressed by a stranger.
And her determination to brazen straight through it is almost immediate, even though her eyes darted towards the door.]
You think so? [She holds a coat up to her New Feather dress.] It seems like it will fit, right?
[Of course, as she does that one hand squirrels away the pair of thick socks for her poor bare feet into the bag she's carrying with the coat as a shield.]
dated to around 11/11--coincidentally Zoro's birthday, huh. 8|athreeswordsoulNovember 16 2010, 13:24:44 UTC
[If a certain street-kid is hanging out in a particular part of the forest today, she'll probably notice a guy with green hair and three swords walking slowly through it, feet crunching through the dead leaves of the season. He stops by a familiar tree for a moment and then just-sits down beneath it. His head clunks back against the trunk and his eyes close.
[Well, she doesn't notice him... but she also doesn't go away. She is trying to get the root to let go of her coat without dropping her load of sticks or falling.]

[And then he sets the clothes he had in his hand back on the rack. Kay, he's just gonna cut straight to the point.]
Stealing is not something someone of your age should be doing. [Now if you wanna get older and THEN steal, well see that's your business.]

He cracks an eye open but otherwise stays as still as stone. Yep. A small girl-child, one that he's never seen before. That's...wonderful.
...Maybe she won't notice him and she'll go away.]
