I'm curious if perhaps the reason you miss Peter, beyond the things you remember loving about him (which seem to last longer than the memories of those we hate) is you were comfortable, and it was familiar? I dunno, just a thought.

I am. It will be a slower process than if I'd remained with Peter, and I may not 'formally' do it for a time, but I still practice, and I still identify myself as Jewish.
