After Golgotha last weekend, I have realized that since Abyss left the Paladin the Goth scene died. It re-arose again briefly with Cab Noc, but its dead. I am praying that the gothesque habit of playing with the undead will help it arise again.

Last time I went (but this was about 6 months ago) they played about 4 songs in an hour that I liked. Woulda stayed longer but I kinda lost the will to live. Even I remember when Goth was fucking Goth and I'm only 24.

Tell you what, though, Retro on a Friday night is usually pretty good. The DJ, Anthony, plays a fair amount of the old stuff and takes requests. I usually end up there if I get the inclination to go out now.

Come to Nemesis. The DJs there actually listen when people say what they want to dance to. I normally spend about half my time there dancing.

I have to agree - the music has been a lot better than golgotha was that night.
