After Golgotha last weekend, I have realized that since Abyss left the Paladin the Goth scene died. It re-arose again briefly with Cab Noc, but its dead. I am praying that the gothesque habit of playing with the undead will help it arise again.
Because REALLY... I didn't spend $10 at the door and an OBSCENE amount of money for drinks (I mean $18.50 for a cowboy and a bourbon is getting a little stupid) just to go to a glorified freaking rave!!! Frankly I don't give two flying figs if the DJ's don't like it. Guess what guys, YOU ARE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! you are not kings of the hill. You are there to serve the patrons weather you like it or not, and if you can't take that then GET OUT OF THE FUCKING DJ BOOTH!!!
Like it or not, most of us pay to listen to "out dated shit" like marilyn, depeche mode, camouflage, berlin, NIN, sisters of mercy and concrete blonde. IT DOESN'T MATTER WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!! We are not gonna change our preferences just because you remove our choices!!
Look at the amount and type of people on your dance floor at golgotha. Me and about 8 of my friends showed up cashed up and ready to dance. 5 FREAKING SONGS in 3 hours. then we gave up and went home in disgust! Ya know what was playing?? Obscure INdustrial Tech. TRY PLAYING GOTH MUSIC!!!!! cause news flash, its a GOTH CLUB!!! I guarantee you, put on stripped, beautiful people, or love cats, and the dance floor will magically transform from a smattering of snot nosed baby bats who are attempting to prove their individuality by pretending to "enjoy" dancing to the shit, looking all pouty and only really proving that they are tasteless emo fucktards, to a floor FULL of people dancing like they mean it because ALL of them, weather they admit it or not, LOVE DANCING TO "THAT SHIT"!!!

PS I'm gonna try Cab noc in 2 weeks, Can anyone tell me what kind of music is on there? *looks like woman facing her last bastion of hope*
