Oh, come on. You know very well that Hector would never give his blessing for something like that. I'm excited for other people who might want to get married.

I find it amusing that you don't deny this.
Really, this is a sign of lapse mentality.
Start looking for a planner and a cake, and a good hospital for when Hector finds out.

Not that I care who gets married or not, I can't be biased since I've dated men myself.
I don't see why it's such an issue anyway.

...we've only known each other for a few months. There's no wedding planned. I'd settle for just seeing him in person now and then -- or at all. I'm going through post-vacation depression at the moment, and not being able to see him doesn't exactly help that.
