Nina doesn't know. But.. I still think, even if it isn't forever, it will be a very long time. Why would we all end up here if they wanted us to go home?

Nina is glad for that. A lot of times people don't like Nina because she talks to much and people think I am stupid.

People generally do not like me, either. Though it is because I talk very little and am considered by some to be even worse than the destroyer of our world.

For what it is worth, Nina, I do not believe you are stupid. I believe you are kind, and that you find something worthwhile in to everyone that you speak. Only truly stupid people would insult you for that.

Because my father's company created him. And because my father had some very shady business practices, stealing the life of the planet and selling it back to the people at exorbitant rates.

I am merely honest. Kindness, unfortunately, does not come easily to me.

That isn't very nice. If people are judging you on what your father did, I mean.

I'm sure you can be really nice! Even if you don't think you're being nice, you probably are.

While I do not agree with it, I can understand their wariness. Were I not me, I doubt I would trust me either.

I admit that I have gotten better over the years. When I was younger, I was rather unpleasant.

They do say kids take after their parents, but I don't know about that. No one I know really does.

Were you a mean boy, Mr. President? Did you pop baloons and steal candy from babies? That's not nice.

I am nothing like my father. It is a mark of pride for me that his last words to me before his death was of his great disappointment in me.

No. I did not have any exposure to other children. I did, however, sneak out at night and go down into the city and throw rocks at the windows of abandoned buildings. It caused the Turks no end of trouble.

It's not right that you didn't get to play with any of the children.

I think I would have enjoyed having you for a friend during my childhood. It might have made me more well-adjusted.

I grew up in the company's corporate headquarters. The only other child permitted in the building was Sephiroth, but he was older and already in the military by the time I was old enough to consider friends.

Yup, he is Nina's friend.

He talks to me a lot and he said I was smart! He even promised that one day he would show me the kind of magic that comes from his world!

He also said the same thing as Cain and Sano. Don't go outside alone or you could get hurt. So I listen to him :D

We are talking about the same person, are we not? A rather tall man, white hair, green eyes with vertical pupils, wears black, and carries a very large sword?

Uh huh. And he has three brothers. ...they're mean.

But Mr. Sephiroth is a very nice man. He.. he has to do some bad things though.. and it makes Nina very very sad.
