I like Tim Curry, I think he's awesome. I've only just seen the Lemony Snicket what ... two seconds ago. I was impressed. :P I liked it better than the books for some reason.
Just out of curiosity, have you read all of the books? There's a bunch of them, like 14 or something! I'd buy them but they're all hardback and sort of expensive. They're not the first on my list to buy so the library works out quite nicely! I'll get to reading them all......eventually! ;)
I can't wait to see what the movies do with these books. Should be very interesting.
All right, it was unfair to assume that the movies were better than the books considering I've only read the first one and the Reptile House one. But what I thought made the movie work was the older actors' performances, in particular Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep. They were very entertaining to watch as Count Olaf and Aunt Josephine.
