More on books
If I thought Lemony Snicket was a quick read, it's nothing compared to The Spiderwick Chronicles!
I breezed through both books in no time flat! They took about an hour
each. The illustrations are wicked and I was delighted to see that they
don't bother with tedious trips to the department of backstory. There
are three more books in the series and I'm excited to read them.
There's something very satisfying about starting and finishing a book
in one sitting. And that happened three times today! Go me! Also, The Spiderwick Chronicles are being made into a movie in 2006. Nothing like reading a book before it's made into a movie franchise.
I guess I'll return those books tomorrow and pick up some more. I kind of want to listen to the audio recording of the first book in the A Series of Unfortunate Events series because it's done by Tim Curry. How awesome is that?
