[Have a troll girl!]

Maybe Freya wanted you more!

[He would be much more startled if he hadn't met some truly outlandish things since getting here -- and he's seen maybe one or two other trolls on the network. Still, they're all terribly different.

This one seems both particularly colorful and particularly cheerful.]

... Then I hope this won't become a regular problem. I've always wanted to travel, but I would like to keep my bedroom in one place.

[Even if what she says has no basis, it still makes him feel a little better.]

I'm shore things will settle down! It's probably just because so many people are showing up, and things are getting sorted.

I would still like an explanation for the change, I think.

[Though his hopes of getting one aren't all that high, considering the amount of extra information they've been given since they got here (read: little to none).

He thinks for a moment.]

Then, you think that more people may have moved?

Huh..? [ the little girl blinks a few times. ] Are you saying they made you change houses..?

[... Oh. She might be the youngest one he's seen since he got here. Allen leans forward a little, which only has the effect of giving you less of him and more of the blankets to look at.]

Yes, that seems to be it. I went to sleep in my old House, and woke in this one.

That's so weird! Why would they move you around all of a sudden? ... It's sort of sad too, since you might have gotten used to your old house already.. [ she pouts a little. ]

I haven't been given an explanation yet. Maybe I will try to ask the Lady Freya herself, later.

[If he can find the goddess -- Heimdall had been somewhat elusive, or maybe Allen simply wasn't used to navigating this place yet. In any case, he shakes his head and smiles at Nanako's concern.]

But it hasn't been that long since I arrived. I did not lose anything when I was moved-- [that he knows of] --so I'm sure I will be used to this House before long.

[... If they don't move him again.]

Ah - I'm sure it's nothing bad about you! I bet the gods just talked and decided you were better suited to a different house. That's all.

I'm sorry, though. This place is already confusing, and then to wake up in a different room...

[He's a little startled that she's so concerned -- he hopes he didn't sound that distressed, though he isn't very happy with this.]

... There's no need for you to apologize. It's simply a startling move, nothing more.

[That, and he's already had experience waking up in inexplicable places. He's just... He's actually really glad he's still here somewhere. The thought gives him a small shiver.]

Though, we still haven't learned the reason for such Houses, have we?

['Cast me out' - the words were just so, so sad. She didn't want anyone thinking something so terrible.]

No, but... I noticed that a lot of people in Heimdall like helping people, so maybe that's why we were put there? But - but there's probably something really nice about your new house, too. Just different.

[He honestly still has doubts that he belongs here -- or that he will be all that useful for the mission they've been given. At the same time, he can't not try to be of use, can he?

Still, her words make him smile a little.]

House Heimdall does seem to be your home then, miss. As for myself-- [his voice is a touch rueful] --I can't call myself that generous.

... But it's as you say. I will not insult the members of House Freya by assuming the worst, of course.

Hey, kid, don't be so down. Maybe Freya kidnapped you.

[A confused blink, though you might not be able to see it between hair and blankets.]

... Why would she want to do something like that? And... why go to the trouble of replacing my bracelet?

[ Greed shrugs. ] Beats me. Maybe she likes stealing piles of blankets.

Piles of...?

[Is he being mocked? Well...]

... It is a very warm pile of blankets. But I'm pretty sure they are not the same blankets.

I doubt the gods would have kept you here had they decided that you were unsuitable for the task they have set before us. It's more likely that they simply decided that Freya would be a more suitable patron for you.

Yes, they probably have some use for me.

[Though, what that use is, he's still a little skeptical of.]

As for being more suitable... I wish everything weren't so mysterious. I still haven't been told what the purpose of these 'Houses' are.

I agree, it would have been useful if more information had been provided to us. And I haven't been here long enough to observe what commonalities those chosen for a house have, though I would be very surprised if there wasn't some pattern to it.

Even if there weren't a pattern... There must be a reason we've been divided like this. I'm just not sure I can believe it's something good for us.

[The most common proverb dealing with division is 'divide and conquer', after all.]
