I have to say, this was damn hot. Agreeing with the "wonderfully IC" comments. Power-plays are hot, and boy do these two pull that off. It's the type of "oh shit, this is sexy" as when Lelouch was sneering up at Suzaku after he'd been knocked down in the cave. You did a great job of capturing the same feeling.
Anyways. Did I mention this was hot? Because it was. Kudos.
P.S. This was hot.

Wow, really? Do you happen to have/remember the link? Now I'm curious. XD
And thank you so much! I'm so glad people like it. (And a little relieved, I worried about their characterizations, given the pinball game that was the last half of R2.)

I'm actually glad you wrote them like you did. One has to note that we get very little insight into their relationship in the last arc. We left off with "What of it? *angry stares*", then a lol timeskip, and then what could be best described as "theatre". As far as their interactions went, we had them talking about Zero Requiem expressionlessly, and then Suzaku threw Lelouch to the ground, and then they went off and did plot things until lol suicide. Director interviews said that by the end, they were such close friends that they could change each other's underwear. Sure, I'll take Taniguchi's word on it, but we the viewers were never shown how this happened, nor were we ever really shown this "true" friendship in action. Suzaku could have held absolutely no love for Lelouch up until he stabbed him, and it would've still made perfect sense ( ... )
