'if only to piss off his mother and Gunter von Kliest'-I really love this line. I can see Conrart being rebellious and a bit of a hell raiser in his Academy days, for precisely the reason you mentioned. =)

I love the tone of this, the friendship between Yozak and Conrart walking the fine line between 'comfortable' and 'ouch'. And the last lines were great. =)

Yay! I really like this part (even with no limey-ness, shocking, I know!). I particularly like the end, and that as much as Conrad does just want to be happy for Yozak, there is that elephant in the room of Murata's importance to two very powerful and often destructive forces. Who would kick Yozak's ass six hundred ways to Sunday if he hurt Murata. (Damn. And now I want to see what the blond version of said destructive force thinks...because you know I love a good bit of snarky banter there. >.> Eheh.)

I love your Yozak's thoughts on Conrad, and his reactions to the situation with Murata. He's so damn evasive, but then that's our Yozak!

Conrad's such a heavy! But I love how you've got the comparison between the current Conrad and Yozak's recollection of the younger, more brash Conrad. I can't wait for the next parts! D:

And Conrad means well, he's as worried about Yozak as Yuuri is about Murata. Though less afraid Yozak's going to be hurt than he is of Yozak getting eaten alive by the Court once the secret breaks. He's just less inclined to be as gentle in handling Yozak, I think. I think there's also a lot still hanging between them that never got resolved, too. >.>;;;
