Two good episodes in a row. Just when I thought they couldn't...
I actually, for some reason, thought/got the impression that Gunn would tell Wesley about his part in it. He's not blameless, but it's not like he knew what it would do to Fred either.
I also thought Angel's speech was getting to be to didactic and stupid, evidentially Wesley did too I was just thinking, oh, it's time for the morals speech again. It was a little annoying, but not the worst. Loved the interruption though. And Angel's reaction.
Spike of course conveniently wants to stay. I'll allow the bad plot reasoning if they can make up for it with good writing. No point in writing him out when the show's ending anyway obviously, but I wouldn't want him to leave so I'll accept whatever reason they make up.
So now Demon-Fred is part of the cast? I got the impression that yes she is. They probably want to keep Amy around for the rest of the season, especially being that it's the last. Should be interesting to see where they go with that

Two good episodes in a row. Just when I thought they couldn't... That's perhaps more a surprising than the episodes themselves. Like I said above, I'm particularly glad to see the return of the 'previouslies'.
I actually, for some reason, thought/got the impression that Gunn would tell Wesley about his part in it. He's not blameless, but it's not like he knew what it would do to Fred either. I thought it was a little much how everyone was blaming him like it was his direct fault. "Why did you do that to Fred?" He didn't do it to anyone, though he did allow it to happen. I am kinda pleased, though I had some notion that they were going to make Gunn the Big Bad or it's assistant, being of W&H now, then leave him behind with it. I somehow didn't think there would be anything after ... (for Gunn). As I said before, I am intrigued.

Hey I think Buffy stopped talking. -snerk-
I'm thinking it might be the case that what we're seeing was made under the impression that they were coming back I remember reading something the other day about what episode they were up to when they found out. I'll have to find it.
Incidentally, they didn't use the sarcophagus stone. The thing that Wesley takes off it? I thought they used that when Angel was fighting Ilyria and he uses it to move super fast.
my favourite shell is tcsh (part II)ascii_70_85March 7 2004, 04:18:01 UTC
I didn't like Spike's whole "we know something's coming, we can both feel it" It always seems forced when they start talking like that. I don't mind it translates out to: oh yes we've got plans for a finale, stay tuned. We've got a plan. Better than thinking about a bunch of stupid one off episodes ... see muppets (or better yet, don't).
... there doesn't seem to be any purpose, or build-up other than it's season finale time. Hold your criticism we're not there yet. They've got 6 episodes more. Eve is still in play, Lindsey may re-emerge, and W&H are always in play. Angel's not exactly on a Buffy-type time-table anyway, though noted Angel's finales usually aren't as good either. Shanshu was pretty good. Home was decent when you don't think about what it led to.
It's funny how they're dealing with Harmony I think she's just too stupid to be bad. Even in Sunnydale, she never caused that many problems. 'Cause everyone had an eye on her, she wasn't working with them as if she was 'one of them'. I don't expect her to do anything, but

i'm sorry i always comment on these days later, but i dont watch angel til saturday nights usually!
anyway, i thought it was a better episode than most, but still, i dont know, it bugged me!
first of all i hate fred and always will, but i like her better as a superhero type person i guess. Its just weird. She suddenly dies, a demon invades her body, and when the demon discovers it can't rule the world after all, she's like, hey wes, teach me to be a nice human! what is this, My Fair Lady?? I dont know where they are giong with this but i found it really odd that one minute she's throwing people through windows and next she's asking how to have a conscience.
and the musical montages struck me as very un-angel like. and that bugged me too.

because i only ever bitch... not true, you write entries in your journal. I've read them. I'm usually ever so slightly happier after I do. You also introduced me to girl squad, then I laughed so hard I cried.
i'm sorry i always comment on these days later, but i don't watch angel til saturday nights usually! No, that's unacceptable, quit your job, school, and friends/boyfriend, so you can comment more promptly on my Angel entries {overt facetiousness}.
I'm happy that people want to respond to something I'm interested in/something I said/me. Comments can be fun.
I think I read that somewhere before, I don't expect to hear from you before Sat.

first of all i hate fred and always will, I don't have a seething hate for Fred, but I've always thought of it like ... "and your purpose here is ..."
She's cute, and probably inspires many cases of anorexia, but save for a moment here and there, not definitely not my favourite character either.
