Yes, he's being very friendly and it's pretty nice. My 15 years old self is doing cartwheels around the house for it, but I have to admit my crush is no more now so it's really just how good it feels to be appreciated :)

I cried at Graham Moore's speech... I had no idea he'd gone through such hard times when he was young and his message touched me to the core. I'm so proud of the recognition he got and it helps prove my point: *this* is the reason why TIG deserved so many more awards!

The only good thing about the fact that Birdman got Best Picture is for me that at least it didn't go to The Theory of Everything. LOL! I'm so bitter but I couldn't stand to have that movie win another thing!

Can't wait to watch Broadchurch myself, tbh. Hopefully we get some resolution because as soon as I read that it had been renewed for season 3 I started panicking... happy to get the show back but hopefully this doesn't mean a cliffhanger!!!

I cheated on darling Benedict and rooted for lots of awards for Whiplash. Its editor got an Oscar and it got a second Oscar for sound, but most importantly, J.K. Simmons won Best Supporting Actor. Made me happy. FanSee

I remember J.K. Simmons from a TV show called "Oz" and I'm afraid he'll always be connected to that character for me, but he is a wonderful actor and I was glad he won. So you liked Whiplash? I can't decide if I want to watch it or not... would you rec it to me?

Woke up watching something. :)

I watched NCIS reruns along with the Oscars. The Oscars seemed slow-moving and somewhat boring throughout and the NCIS reruns had Ziva and I miss her in the show.

Lady Gaga was very good, She has a really good voice and I enjoyed her presentation of Julie Andrews' songs. Also good to see Julie Andrews.

I didn't even try to stay awake to watch the ceremony on streaming ;) I just watched it online the day after but only after I'd watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead because that's my newest obsession *g*

Lady Gaga shocked me, I won't lie. I like some of her songs but she's never been a favorite of mine. I had no idea she could sing like that! She was amazing and it surprised me to no end to hear her voice reach those kinds of highs. *bows*

That acceptance speech really was something. A very important message and I hope that it helps at least someone who needs just those words to go on. Very fitting for the movie as well.

I think he's grateful that I'm taking care of his mother, you know? Cooking for her, too, and listening to her when she needs to talk. Still, it's nice to get gifts from someone I so very much crushed on as a teen *g*
