I HAVE A JOB!It's all been rather quick. The day before yesterday a recruitment agency called me about a position I'd applied for, a telephone interview was scheduled with the employer a couple of hours later. I was invited for a face to face the following morning and by the afternoon the recruitment agency was calling to say the company liked me

Thank you. Yes I rather hope that too, but everyone seemed really friendly, and while I was waiting for my interview everyone who walked by offered me a drink which was nice.

A bit of advice from someone in the industry? Learn and know what you're talking about. Even if you've gotta take reading home with you. You'll feel better knowing that you do the right thing by the customer at the end of the day.

I feel its a strange coincidence that I was asking you about insurance not so long ago now, and now I have a job in it. And yes I will make sure I understand what I'm selling. The company pretty much told me something similar they seem pretty reputable. They're an insurance broker that works with 8 different insurance companys which they maintain good relationships with to get special rates for our customers.

I they asked me about how I deal with customers in the interview I replied with examples of a new home owner and told them I might take more time with them to explain everything thoroughly so they understand how it all works. Actually the thinking of it I mentioned taking extra time and they still want to employ me, that's a sin to most people.

Thank you. I hope it works out to, I'm going to try hard to make it work. The staff all seemed very friendly.

And here's a story on how to make yourself stand out at interview. I accidentally said 'breast' instead of 'best'! I was talking about bra fitting so it didn't come completely out of nowhere, but both my interviewers doubled over laughing so hard we all had to take a minute before speech was possible again.

Thank you. It's actually a small but rapidly growing company.I think I might fit in better than with a huge industry giant. And if get on maybe I can start moving upwards and make a carer for myself.
