The Clinton exit speech: Beautiful, and I am saying that objectively because I think it was one of her best. This woman has the ability to turn me into a sloppy, teary-eyed mess. Thank you for always being such an eloquent advocate for Hillary. Too many on my friends list, if they veered into politics (and almost all did) had nothing but bad things (and unsubstantiated as well) to say about her and it always warmed my heart to read supportive posts.

She did an awesome job today.

(edit) I was just perusing Huff Post and came across the following which illustrates precisely what was wrong with the democratic race:

At one point he writes, A few minutes later my sadness turned to rage when Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews started spinning the speech. Their first words were concerned with the number of minutes Clinton spent "patting herself on the back" before mentioning Obama, and whether her endorsement would be perceived as strong enough to send her supporters into the Obama camp ( ... )

the media is a fickle thing. in one breath chris matthews can say he doesn't want to talk about race anymore, but they will equally overanalyze every word in Hillary's speech to get to the bottom of her real motives in it all. Because she couldn't just be hurting. Or be trying to bow out gracefully. Or, you know, have accomplished anything by being a woman in a room full of men and never backing down.
