I'm not a huge fan of Dr. House - yet I kept watching - until the very end! *g*
I guess the ending was ok, almost a bit too happy for the series.

I think it kept the balance. After all House is going to loose his best friend and has lost his identity.

I liked the show. It wasn't on my WOW list, but I did watch every single episode and some of them were quite good :)

With Grey's Anatomy ending this season and Emily Owens M.D. being cancelled before it even started... there won't be any medical dramas on TV any more. I've been watching those since I was a kid!
