I know I'm late to the party, but the last episode only aired this week in Germany! I was able to stay away from the spoilers, yeah! I found the last three eps very good. I liked how House was battling with Wilson's illness and how Wilson was battling with it (and House). Had me quite teary a few times.
Strangely the last ep is called "Everybody dies" in English but "The Last Case: The Reichenbach Fall" in German. How's that for an (unsurprising) spoiler? I loved it though, why wouldn't I with all those Sherlock Holmes AND Sherlock references? Best moment was during the funeral when Wilson starts ranting and his phone keeps beeping and there's a text from House :) Reminded me of the scene in A Study in Pink where Sherlock texts Lestrade (and the reporters) during the press conference. Now don't tell me that wasn't inspired by Sherlock!
And House and Wilson riding into the sunset (on their motorbikes)... well, what a good way to go. I'm sure fanfiction writers around the world were very please with such an open ending. I never really shipped those two, but it works great with them as friends and of course even better with them as more than just friends :)
I read some comments about the finale and one of the most often asked question was what House would do after Wilson's death.
Why, he'll find some stretch of land and keep bees of course :)
