Kent and I made use of his day off today and decided to spend the money burning a hole in my checking account get our completion bonus from leftover items on the wedding registry. Lol that's what I always tell Lou when I want something. He will often make the comment "Well we don't have any room for it." Oh I'll find room, I always do. :)

The mixer has three different attachments so it can do regular type mixing, whip things like cream and egg whites, and it also has a bread hook. There's also a slot on the front of the mixer that you can add attachments to to make the mixer into different things like a pasta maker, meat grinder, or ice cream machine. I'll probably get some of the add-ons later, but for now I'm just excited to have an honest-to-god mixer.

And I'm happy to be back up here. I didn't realize how strong our roots were in the area until we left and went to Galveston.
