I decided to pretty much stick with the WIP version of the composition. Scratched the idea of doing any background because I like the stark contrast the way it is. I incorporated the original gradated wash idea into Madam Red's figure as planned. Aside from that, subtle shading was added and a few lines cleaned and corrected -- overall very minor.

It's Friday and it's doodle club time! Since I failed to post something last week, it feels good to be able to post something even if it's a WIP. This one actually can stand alone as a finished drawing, but my original plan still involves a lot more detail. (You know me! XD)

I'm getting started with my next drawing. It's going to be of Madam Red! I was just reference-shopping by watching the Jack the Ripper arc in the anime and realized that the end of Episode 6 is my favorite.
