Writer's Block: The Little Things I Do for Our Planet

We recycle plastics number 1 and 2, corrugated cardboard, paper, magazines, newspaper (when they just throw them on my lawn despite the fact we don't subscribe...), glass, tin, aluminum, phone books.  We've been doing that for over 16 years.   All our light bulbs are fluorescent bulbs, except maybe one incandescent in the entire house.  I compost

Thanks. ^^ I forgot to mention that we have water-saver flush toilet and reduced-flow shower head as well. XDD

I'm amazed that it's been this long since we signed up for the monthly curbside recycling. I am a little disappointed, though, that not very many families in the 'hood are participating. Although the overall number of participating households has steadily grown in the city. ^^
