Alphonse feels rather out of practice and decides that it's a good day to do simple, slow katas by the lake. It's soothing and relaxing and will help him get used to moving and not being over seven feet tall.

The young man begins his work out a bit awkward and stuttering, but soon the moves, deadly if sped up, flow like poetry from his limbs.

Helen woke up, this morning, to be the serious girl she used to be in Perth, before she met Curtis and got married, before she studied in England.

It's an odd feeling, but regardless of her age, she's still who she is, and calm about it. And she'll be wandering about, eyes wide and curious.

When she spots the young man doing his daily routine, she pauses to observe, but she's not intrusive about it.

It's not long before he moves, finally, to a close and bows to the lake like he had been taught.

Alphonse turns to pick up his towel and water when he spies the young woman. "Ah! Hello. I'm sorry. I didn't see you there."

"It's quite alright," she replies, smiling a bit more, because he looks so nice. "-- did I interrupt?"
