How did you come to start your LJ? I saw that others had blogs and I thought I might try doing it. I had no idea it would become so much a part of my daily life.
"Yes, the very few that I have. BTW I don't like the term "real life" (RL) because this IS real life. My friends are my REAL LIFE friends here. So I say "in person" friends, or non-cyber friends." I love this answer. =)
Lovely answers! I don't have time at the moment to do this but I may at a future date when I don't have friends coming from the US. :D I detest and avoid drama at all cost. The few times I've had to deal with it it made me so upset, hence my statement on my user info page. And yes, this IS real life. It's been my privilege to make many in person friends I've met here first.
I completely understand. I do hop you will have time to do it at some point as I'm interested in your answers.
I have had three or four real incidents of drama, and it ate me up inside. I was a wreck for days.
If it weren't for LJ friends, I'd only have a couple of friends who live far away. You and others are very real to me, and you are important to me! I'd love to meet you in person. I wish I lived closer to Michigan, so I could meet you when you come this year.
I copied the questions and have it stored away for a future post. :)
I would love to take a tour and visit LJ friends in different places. There are some people here who I have know for years but have never had the chance to meet and I'd love to. Where are you located? We have a dear friend in Nashville (which is nowhere near you) and another good friend in Blacksburg, VA which is closer.
We are close to Blacksburg! In fact, there is a lovely Indian restaurant there we like to visit. It is an hour an a half away, I think, maybe less-- Virginia Tech country! (Emmie's favorite college team).
LJ people are much more my friends, in many ways, than all but a handful of people that I see regularly face to face. And I now have friends world-wide - it is just wonderful.
I completely agree with you! You and I would have never been friends without this wonderful avenue, and now I have someone I treasure who lives on an Isle, far away!
