Wow that's great! I only wish Jordan would want to stay away on the weekends, but he comes home every single week :( I feel bad for him.

Congrats!

I know what you mean about the pang, but it's great news nonetheless that she's so happy at the new place!

That's right. A pang is nothing compared to her happiness and feeling of belonging. I am so happy for her!

Thanks!

My goodness! WOw-- what fantastic news! I don't think you could have hoped that Emmie would have settled in so lovingly into her new home. I absolutely warmed when I read the phrase, "I have a lot of people here to talk to". So sweet!

I remember when I was in college and didn't awnt to go home on a weekend that I normally did--I was so nervous about hurting my parents feelings. My parents were cavalier on the phone.. but I knew they had the 'parental pang' going on in their hearts. ;-)

Yes, it is very comforting to know she feels at home there. It's hard to have one foot in one life and a foot in the other -- I expected Emmie to eventually not want to come home very often, but didn't expect it the first week! :)

Thanks so much. I appreciate those kind words. And "sisters" yes, includes Sasha.
