Pictures that show why I need a ramp

Oct 28, 2008 13:59

it snowed last night, and so far all day today, off and on -- mostly on. The ground was so warm that even though it snowed all night, there wasn't a huge amount of accumulation. Here are a few pics. Also pics showing why I need a ramp!

We have handrails now. Don't be afraid! it is better now. Just not wheelchair-able. It IS pretty, isn't it? :)

Miss talking to you. That problem you and Amy were worried about is a moot point, I do believe, after making many calls to PA.

So early? Is this normal cuz you're in the mountains? So pretty!

Well, we do get lake effect snow from Lake Michigan, believe it or not, as it goes down the mountains. But this is early even for us. Last year it sprinkled on Bear's birthday (24th) but it isn't unheard of to have snow on halloween. It was so pretty all day. It is still snowing, in fact, looking out the window just now!

My dearest friend Rapunzel,

We shall get you out of there somehow, needn't fear my lass!

Your Lady-in-Waiting on sabbatical studying the possibility of overcoming the laws physics in regards to the hills in the place K lives, with Mr Science...

Elspeth

*swift curtsy*walking backwards out of the room...WOOPS..it's okay, just hard walking around with one glass slipper on ( this fairy tale stuff isn't the greatest gig available, that's for sure )*smiling all the while*

Oh, I forgot...studying also, the English language and the ramifications on the reduction of social acceptance when one makes the egregious faux-paux of leaving out the word of before physics and the developing of skill in regards to the decision making process of making just one more edit...which will fill receiver's mailbox with multiple mini-cyber letter snipets.....or whatever it said on the syllabus! :D

you're so funny! Sadly, I cut my hair so "Rapunzel" doesn't really fit any more! LOL

And he is actually Mr Mathmatics rather than Mr Science, but who cares... haha

I loved your post(s)!

Great...I was counting on the hair thing...bummer! :(

Okay new scenario..picture seven diminutive men surrounding you encased in glass after having eaten an apple poisoned with something not approved by the FDA... If weeping men are not enough to annoy you enough to get out of your prison...we need.....

Right, we have to get a prince let me reflect for a moment ah...Sir Teacher Bear will do nicely I think...tell him the red tights will be alright...just this once...he'll give you a kiss... which will wake you up ( while we are at it, let's go for it...younger and in perfect health ) and you'll be in your castle in the English countryside and as Lady Bountiful of the county you will spend your days delivering hand sewn quilts with stitches of gold ( can't trust the banks anymore anyway! ) to all the delightful peasantry and reading about poor Rapunzel being still stuck in the Tower..waiting for Elspeth, her unreliable lady-in-waiting eternal student that she is, to help her get out of there tout suite!

I wouldn't want anyone vulnerable (disabled, young child, whomever) on those stairs!

agreed! At least we finally have a handrail, after nearly 5 years of trying to get one!
