Move-in went fairly well yesterday. I'll take and post pictures at a more human hour. RA rooms in Mac Hall are gorgeous compared to your average dorm room, not to mention spacious. I'm so psyched to have the ability to have a separate room for work and a separate room for sleep and relaxation. It's a great space ( Read more... )

Ah...fire alarms...x.x The fire alarm went off at work last night at about 11pm. So far that's the fifth time it went off in about 2 months. Gah! I will never escape them! Dorm or not. ;)

Wow. Your theatre's record is as bad as Mac's!

I'm still on dialup until the wireless is finished installing- these pictures are taking forever. :X But I will get them up, have no fear! *hugs*

EVERY break is a social activity, you'll find. It's amazing and I love it.

^^ RA training is excellent. Exhausting and a lot of work, but so much fun, too.

you get a building to move into???? =-o I'm JEALOUS! They have me and my team all holed-up in another hall until mine's done.. I get to move in Friday (not that I'm like counting down the days or anything).

Every break is a social activity with students whether you're in training or not, where have you been? ;)

With the distance and needing Dad's van to bring stuff down and his muscles to help unload and move in, I can't imagine not being able to move into my own room. :X Good luck with the move on Friday!

when i lived at Mac "a few years back", I think I had about 10 pulled on my floor alone, yeah... way to go 8th floor Mac

Heh. Last year they had 16 in total. As we're already up to two, I don't think this bodes well...
