Moth People: Day 6

Falling a bit behind here...

My picture doesn't do this justice because I was at the wrong angle. (Wrong angles are a big deal because of structural color.  If there are any other fans of structural color, let me know and I will rant you out.)

I’m a huge fan of the capelets you use on some of these and this one is especially lovely!! The wrapping looks fantastic too - she has such a wonderfully ethereal look!

Thanks! When I was a kid I used to design clothes for the princesses in the books I read. Then I became a punky kid who shunned anything remotely feminine... Then I honed my art skills drawing robots... I can't believe I'm back to designing clothes for princesses... Will I next resort to crayon scribbles and then an untimely death?

Whooooooahhhhhhh, what a gorgeous find!!! And I totally know what you mean about the structural color, whenever I see blue morphos at bug fair (pinned, sadly) I always gotta angle just right to really catch that iridescence. You did a beautiful job here though, I like the layers and texture!
