TWO GREAT TASTES THAT GO GREAT TOGETHER!

Oct 20, 2010 01:04

So I was having a thoroughly crappy night tonight.

-My roommate had her friends over, so they kind of took over. Again. (Not that I mind that much- they're nice and all- and if it were just that, I wouldn't have a problem... but I can't study when they're here. And this is the second night in a row it's happened ( Read more... )

Oh, and I'm happy that PL x PW was able to make you feel better~ ♥ Hope your roommate cuts it out soon! Remember, talk to her if it gets out of hand! C:

Haha, yeah, exactly!! It's just awesome.

And it's alright. It's not out of hand or anything- it was just the one night, and she's more than free to have her friends over. They're her rooms too and all. I just couldn't study that well then... but it's not a major problem. It was just... there.

I don't know if I was more excited about the trailer in high wuality, or at the fact that I actually understood some of what they were saying XD XD XD

(my Japanese is so crappy, I'll take every little victory I can get T__________T)

Also, I'm sorry about your crappy night :(

Y-You did?? Oh man, I'm so envious. Japanese is one of those languages that I would love to know, but... how awful I am at foreign languages combined with how difficult a language Japanese is would make that so much more work than is practical for me. But yes. That's awesome. XD

And it's alright. We all have nights like that- the important thing is that they pass and we move on~

I studied it for three and a half years, and I already forgot most of what I knew. It's SO SAD.
At least I've got French to make me feel better about myself...

Oh, man. I'm just so jealous overall of your skill with languages. I've only ever studied two languages in my life- Spanish and Latin- and I couldn't actually get by in either. I might be able to deal for a little bit in Spanish, but I just have problems remembering vocabulary...

BUT ANYWAY. That you could do that is so ridiculously awesome, and I'm jealous. XD

"Hating a team because they win does not make you "edgy". It doesn't mean that you're "different", "unique", or "anti-conformist". It just makes you a douche, and it makes you really fucking annoying. No matter how badly they may have lost tonight or last night, the Yankees don't suck."

Hating a team because they win also makes you a douche. So does liking a team because they win. Bandwagon jumpers, in general, suck and should go DIAF somewhere ( ... )

Fff, I believe you. I should have a baseball icon too... huh. Why DON'T I have a baseball icon?? :/ arthoniel October 21 2010, 18:30:33 UTC
Yep, pretty much. I just... there were a ton of people on Facebook, most of whom grew up in the Bronx and just got sick of the Yankee fans (which is understandable), who were bitching out the Yankees and avidly rooting for the Rangers and talking about how awesome the Rangers' players are and how they're gonna beat New York so easily and everything and... you know, if you had asked most of them where the Rangers are from two months ago? They wouldn't have been able to tell you. I joke around about it, but in seriousness, if you don't like the Yankees, I'm cool with that. But when they're really, seriously, cheering for, say, Hamilton, just because he got a home run against the Yankees and for no other reason? That annoys the fuck out of me. Bandwagon jumpers really do need to just go die in a hole somewhere. DX

...I meant you in the general sense up there. Not, like, you. Just so you (specific) know. XD

...This is true. The Yankees don't have much of a bearing on the NL. If they were to go on to win the World Series, they kinda ( ... )
